About us

Today's Austrian Cultural Forum, which is one of the oldest Austrian cultural institutions abroad, enjoys a 51 year tradition since its establishment as a reading room in 1955- the year when the modern Austria regained its full sovereignty and autonomy.
Our experienced and dynamic team will help the institute's positioning in a fascinating network of Austro-Croatian and Central-mid and South East European relations. We want to become a forum of dialogue and communication, an efficient service institution for artists, and a point of contact and reference address for cultural, scientific and educational matters both in Austria and in Croatia.
In the light of these developments, our main priority will be to foster contemporary art of in particular young artists from Austria, and to accompany the path of integration of Croatia into the European Union with cultural projects.
These are challenging and exciting tasks which can only be implemented with your interest and support!
I look forward to your participation at an event of the Austrian Cultural Forum!
