1. Franz Werfel Scholarship for young university teachers of German language and Austrian literature
2. a) Ernst Mach Scholarship – worldwide with area of study or research: natural sciences, technical sciences, human medicine, agriculture and forestry, veterinary medicine, social sciences, law and economics, humanities and theology, fine arts
b) Ernst Mach Scholarship – for non European countries with area of study in economy, tourism, economy and technology, technology/biotechnology, media and design, health and social care.

Call for applications for the "Writer of the City of Graz" scholarship for the period of September 1st (year of awarding) until August 31st (the following year)
Donation / Intention of Promotion
The city of Graz awards the "Writer of the City of Graz" scholarship each year. It includes the provision of an apartment for free in the Cerrini-Schloessl on the Schlossberg, from September 1st of the year of awarding until August 31st of the following year, and a monthly allowance of EURO 1.100,--. The Kulturvermittlung Steiermark will supervise the guest in consultation with the City of Graz-Department for Cultural Affairs.
Milo-Dor-Internship
Writers in Residence
Writers and translators from Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and the Ukraine can apply each year in autumn for a Milo-Dor-grant in Vienna for the following year. The award includes board and lodging, insurance and a monthly allowance, and can run for up to two months.
